"I would use butane above acetone or alcohol. I would recommend 'Newport' butane. Its pure and they don't add anything to the butane to make it smell. Its also really easy to check your butane for additives. Get a small mirror and spray a bit of the butane on it. Give it a few seconds so it evaporates. If the mirror is clean, your butane is too. If there is any residue at all, your butane is laced. "
