Outjo — THE Police at Outjo have arrested a 35-old-man for allegedly dealing in dagga.

The suspect, a resident of Outjo's informal settlement known as 7de Laan, allegedly wrestled with the police and succeeded in chewing and swallowing some of the dagga rolls in his possession. He was arrested during a raid on his house on Sunday.The Police allegedly also found dagga hidden in a bicycle tube at the suspect's house.

Deputy Commissioner Moses Khairabeb of Otjozondjupa police said the suspect would be charged with dealing in illegal drugs, resisting arrest and obstructing the course of justice. He is expected to appear in court this week.
