Boy (10) found with dagga
MBABANE – A boy estimated to be 10 years old was found by cordon guards in possession of 1 kilogram of dagga at Nhlanguyavuka in northern Hhohho region.
Army Public Relations Officer, Major Khanya Dlamini, said the boy managed to evade the arrest by soldiers patrolling the border, but dropped the dagga.
Major Dlamini said the dagga was taken to the Nsingizini Army Barracks.
The incident is one of a few cases where dagga totalling a street value of approximately E29 000 was confiscated by the police.
On august 29, Major Dlamini said at Makhwane, Lucky Dlamini was found with 4.4 kilograms of dagga with a street value of E3 080.
He was also carrying E480 cash.
