Malawi Gold Cobs
The Cob that is Gold in Malawi
The Malawi cob comes in many forms, shapes, sizes and colours. There are also many ways to prepare a cob, or that have been used over the years. However a general process is harvest and dry the malawi gold female plants, and wrap them tightly in a corn husk, securing and bound in the classic cob style. Sometimes its baked directly in the sun, or alternatives are to bury it under soil, and even kraal manure, to possibly make the classic black magics, malawi black.

Its a combination of high altitude growing (THCV)
A process of curing ( fresh weeds packed into cob leaves and buried for up to six months. this process Sweats the weed, giving it a very peppery/spicy flavour)and damn great SATIVA genetic.
I live in Malawi and have done so for 4 years. I smoke quite a bit of cob, one time i bought some at Lake Of Stars which is this music festival we have at the lake here, the cob had been cured perfectly and was sticky as honey and dark green. you can see the cob on the the attachment below, it smelled like spicey citrus, pine cones or something. It was a crazy Strong sativa with a psychedelic long lasting high.
Malawi cannabis is tall, with the typical almost-pure-sativa look. The different phenotypes I encountered in my travelling were ranging from very woody and earthy in flavour to fruity and sweet (pineapple and mango the most dominant smells on the fruity phenos - Franco.
